This event in the Southern Food and Beverage Museum will give participants a small sample of what the 2010 New Orleans Coffee Festival holds, while our coffee exhibits will provide a little more background to the festival and the coffee history of New Orleans. David Lummis, author of newly released book: The Coffee Shop Chronicles of New Orleans will also be joining the Press Conference, along with local publisher, River House Publishing. The West African Drum Company will perform. The New Orleans Coffee Festival is a one day event that celebrates the various blends and roasts and flavors of coffee that call New Orleans home. It will take place at the Freret Street Festival on Saturday, November 6 from noon to 5 pm, and will feature tastes of coffee, discussions, and a chance to buy your favorite ones.
